Applying to CAA

Returning Students

Coralwood invites all RETURNING students to register for 2024-2025 by:

Step 1: Re-register by logging in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal and click the "School Engage" button.  If you need to add a new student: click the grad cap and "Add New Student".  Click the graduation cap and select your child.  Fill in and submit all forms associated with each child.  

Step 2: Submit any new documentation to the school through the above process or through the office (i.e. updated citizenship documents, custody documents)

Step 3: Pay the registration fee ($150/child till April 30 and $200/child starting May 1).  Registration fees may be paid by email transfers to etransfer@coralwood.org.  Be sure to fill out the Memo or Message section and state who and what the payment is for.

Step 4: Meet with the business manager.

Step 5: Admissions Committee.

Step 6: Letter of Acceptance.

Step 7: Financial Contract signed.


Prospective Students

Coralwood invites all PROSPECTIVE students to apply using the following process:

Step 1: Create a new parent account.  Go to:  https://albertadventist.schoolengage.ca/#/home.  Click "Create New Account".  Fill in PARENT information and click "Register". Click on the link in your email address to confirm your account.  Log in to your new School Engage Account and click "Add Student",  Fill in their information and submit application.  Click on the Graduation Cap and select your newly added student.  Click the form assigned to your student and fill in the information.

  • a copy of student's birth certificate and/or proof of status in Canada

  • a copy of student's Alberta Health Card  

  • a copy of student's most recent report card, if applicable

  • a copy of student's up-to-date immunization records

  • a copy of any custody or guardianship arrangements if applicable

  • a copy of Character reference & Educator reference (*please see below for forms)                                                        

Step 2: Once Reference/Educational Check are submitted, Principal's Office will conduct a reference check.

Step 3: Interview with the Principal. (In person with prospective student(s) and parent(s))

Step 4: Interview with the Business Manager.

Step 6: Student Assessment, if applicable

Step 7: Admissions Committee considers the application.

Step 8: Letter of Acceptance.

Step 9: Financial Contract signed.
