A bit about me...

My name is Miss Christine Greene and I am originally from the province of Saskatchewan. I completed my Bachelor’s of Education degree from the University of Alberta and have been working with children in different capacities from all different backgrounds for many years. Some of my work experience includes daycare and after school instructor, grade 1 teacher, substitute teacher for K-9, tutor, bus safety instructor and ESL teacher. I was the replacement kindergarten/options teacher at Coralwood since March 2009 and was happy to have the chance to continue with the kindergarten program this year. Lifelong learning is important for me and I am constantly reading books and taking seminars and classes to stay up to date with current trends. My philosophy of teaching centers around three principles: engage the student in the material, practice your skills and create your own products. I consistently try to maintain a positive and respectful environment that fosters a joy for learning.
