Grades 1 - 2

This year the focus in the grade 1/2 class is "Following His Way."  We are spending time reading Bible stories to discover how God has lead His people in the past. We are also focusing on the Lifelong Guidelines and Lifeskills to help us follow His way each day in our own lives.

Currently Coralwood is blessed with twelve grade one students and six grade two students.  I am blessed this year to be able to work with grade twos for Language Arts and Math — my favorites.  I also am blessed to work with grade ones for Health, Social Studies, French and Life Skills.

The Activ Board, increased numbers of classroom library books, and a small class all create an ideal learning atmosphere.

We are enjoying our new Math curriculum as well as specific time to focus on Life Skills that we can share with our families.
